San Francisco Engagement Portraits Session – Jason & Yvette
A quick peek into the San Francisco engagement portraits session of Jason and Yvette, due to be wed later in the year. Congratulations to this great couple!
Jason and Yvette were such a fun and lively couple that had decided to start planning their wedding well in advance. Well prepared and organized, they contacted me late at the end of 2013 and we set up a photography consultation in early January of 2014 to discuss the details of their engagement portraits. We set a date in April and crossed our fingers for some good weather in the City!
During the photography consultation, I learned that Jason and Yvette were passionate San Francisco Giants fans. They go to many games a year at AT&T Park in San Francisco and watch all the games they can. Jason is also a classic car fan and owns a gorgeous blue ’68 Camaro with racing stripes! Perfect. So we decided to incorporate his second love, his car into the engagement photo shoot as well! With Yvette’s blessing on the car, we were all set to do a multi-themed engagement portraits photo shoot.
Come a beautiful April morning, we set out very early as I had planned a variety of locations and timing would be critical. First we started at Twin Peaks in San Francisco, then moved to AT&T Park to beat the crowd that would be arriving early for the Giants game which was taking place in the early afternoon. Then after that we would move on to the industrial areas of the City. Traveling and multiple outfit changes over a pressure packed day can be hard on some couples but Jason and Yvette were great sports. They had fun along every leg of their engagement portraits photo shoot, and I am always thankful for that. Having fun is a major key with any successful photography, and we all sure did have a blast!
